A memorial stands to commemorate the loss of life that day when Swiss Air 111 ran out of fuel and crashed into the bay. It is indeed a somber place to visit. Every year the locals pay homage to those souls who were lost .

Well done memorial on a beautiful site. The lovely oath to the memorial had great views of Peggy’s Cove and the lighthouse in the distance. Worth the stop!

This location is pretty hidden. When you find it, take a moment and pause for the ones who lost their lives. Take in the views and see peggys cove from a distance as well
