Wear good walking shoes and bring a jacket the wind can be cool. It is an amazing place to walk around. It is dog friendly.

An amazing place to visit. The ocean so wonderful. It cooler so wear a headband for the wind or bring a tougue, warm jacket. Don't have to be up and close to the lighthouse for the best photo. Rocks are super smooth. Great waves crashing....More

The bus trip to this sight was amazing enough but the small town of Peggy's Cove and its amazing lighthouse topped it off. A nice place to walk around to visit the small shops and find a photo op. A warning - not for the...More

Before we visited the lighthouse I was wondering if it would live up to the hype and actually, it did. It seems to be a very regal structure and the large boulders add to the majestic appearance. Many travel sites recommended to go early or...More

I recently visited Peggy's Cove as an excursion on a Royal Caribbean cruise to New England/Canada (June 2018). Peggy's Cove is infamous for it's glacier regression impact that created this scenic small fishing village. Our guide said that 49 people (not families) live there year...More

Couldn’t fault the views or the photos you can take from the area. Parking was plentiful and warnings a plenty. Are there many rude people who just walk in front when you are taking a photo? Yes! But overall stunning

I visited here in the early 80’s and returned in June 2 Of 2018! I wasn’t disappointed. A beautiful place with loads of history and natural beauty. The restaurant was the ONLY one who actually offered unsweetened homemade tea. And of course they are famous...More

Peggy's Cove is a must see stop on the tourist route from Halifax. Fascinating rock formations and local buildings. Excellent visitor centre too so can plan the rest of your day.

Take a picture you won't be alone. I'm told this is the most photographed place in all of Canada. After seeing it it wouldn't surprise me it is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. If you imagine a lighthouse you imagine Peggy Cove lighthouse. I I can tell...More
