The beach is not so long, but it is beautiful compared to other beaches in the area of Peruibe. Sand is not white but the water is warm and the ocean is child friendly. The little tents with food and drinks provided by locals are usually good and there is plenty of umbrellas and chairs to rent. People are nice! There is also a large restaurant in the corner of the main road that serves good food. Parking close to the beach is limited, but you can park along the main road and walk a few blocks. Worth the trip! …

If you come to São Paulo, Brazil you may ear about nice beaches to the North-East side of the State. However, 100 miles south-west, there is a place still to be known by most foreigners. It is just at the outskirts of the Natural Reserve of Juréia. This is a short strip of sand (roughly over 1 mile long) sided by green covered mountains of the reserve. There, you can also rent a boat and go to other very nice and completely virgin beaches further south. There are also trails and falls nearby. This is also the place to go if you enjoy fishing. Even in the winter you may spot some birds migration and can also take a bird watching tour. Lodging is not sofisticated. It is very simple and cheap with good local food. If you are looking for natural attractions, far from crowded, busy and sofisticated beaches, that is the place to go mainly during late march to june and september to early december time. Winter (june to august) may be chilly (58o.F) and wet, but still there is a lot to do if you are a nature lover person.…

There is parking on the beach and along the road.…

I don't know if I have been on a beach that had a better background scenery. I felt like I was in an painting. The beach was nice/safe and clean.

This is a interesting place to visit if you are around. Again you are going to see how BR middle class function ins and odds. The town can get pretty crowded on Holidays and long weekends. Supermarkets are going to have long standing lines, water may be a precious thing to have. And if you do have it its your lucky and traffic will take most of your time.Adding the lack of personal space people seems not have. Enjoy and visit around! Warm and hot nights, so you can have ice cream or rent a bike or even better a double bike to ride on the shore. Also visit the local fairs with local made products. The beaches have black sand and are flat.…
