Stopped here on our cruise with royal Caribbean, was just lovely. Although weather was hot and humid, great for snorkling and the beach was so cool and tropical. Locals very friendly, enjoyed a plate of fresh paw paw and banana from a small shack cafe. Accepted australian money more than american $$. A very lovely place I would definitely go... More

Fantastic fun and clear waters , we were on a cruise and only had the day. A bit crowded but not hard to find some clear areas.

Snorkeling is a must do here. They also take you to shark cave and beautiful turtle farms. This place is a must visit.

Stunning, majestic, beautiful, friendly locals and out of this world! These are just a few words to describe this amazing place. Fresh caught and cooked lobster starting at $20.00 each for a good size up to $50.00 for a massive one. Massages are only $15.00 for 30 - 45 minutes, i wanted to bring my beautiful lady home with me.... More

Beautiful clear warm water, beach is clean and safe. Spent a day there off a cruise ship. The locals from the nearby island come over and do diving, snorkling tours and also hire out snorkling gear. The also do a daily market on the island when the ships visit. and cannot rate it highly enough.

Mystery Island is a small parcel of land 1 sq km in size. The island's correct name is Inyeug - "Mystery Island" is a tourist name. It's alleged to be a name bestowed by Queen Elizabeth II on her visit in 1974. Even the origin of the name appears to be a mystery. Have a swim, eat lobster - then have... More

Actually meets expectation of what a small tropical Island paradise might look like. Nothing here but beautiful beaches, coral reefs, friendly locals selling coconuts and trinkets, and other tourists. Snorkelling here is excellent but don't fall into trap of booking a tour through a cruise ship where you will be charged 3 to 4 times as much for exactly what... More

Stopped here on a cruise. Great snorkelling, clear water and lots of interesting fish close to shore. My favourite place of the 4 stops we made.

Mystery Island, real name Inyeug Island, is a tiny island paradise south of Aneityum Island, Vanuatu. White sandy beaches with crystal clear water. The island is deserted until a cruise ship arrives for the day. Markets are set up and tours are on offer. We did the UNIQUE FARM AND VILLAGE TOUR ON ANEITYUM ISLAND. We went by boat to... More
