So much to do at the harbour front area. Good mixture of restaurants and shops. I liked it because there weren't a lot of chain stores or restaurants. Nice individual non franchise restaurants and shops. There is a sandybeach there that is marked off. Also...More

The waterfront is pretty and there are some water taxis that offer great service to Alexandria, VA as well as up and down the coast. Surrounding restaurants vary from good to lousy and all are overpriced, but the harborfront itself is quite nice.

Scenery is amazing and very peaceful atmosphere during the summer. Definitely a "must see" in the winter with the beautiful Christmas trees!

Right on the Potomac, this is a great mix of restaurants and retail, not far away from some very historic sights.
