Authentic village
Aug. 2021 • Couples
Little fishing village, more like a village ressort as all the robuer are rent for tourists
10 euros each to enter the village it might be quite a lot for some but I could understand that this money helps to preserve the village … if it’s the case then ok
20 to 30 minutes to stroll around and watch the movie
But is it the nicest village ? Does it need an Unesco recommandation ?

Amazing authentic fishing village
Jun. 2021 • Couples
This was much better than expected and a must see when you are in Lofoten.

The city is authentic like no other places in Lofoten and you fee you are walking inside a museum where people actually live as well.

I have been driving by before and thinking any pay an entrance to see a fishing village there are so many of her, but finically visited and should have done that many years ago

This is a must see in Lofoten

Gorgeous little fishing village
Sep. 2020
Very beautiful little fishing village. Lovely for pictures and nice views. Have heard it can be hectic and it costs money to get in there in summer, but in September it was quiet and free. The restaurant wasn’t open for lunch in September. But the cafe at the landhandleri was, and had fabulous fish soup and waffles

Entrance Fee
Aug. 2020 • Family
Ridiculous to charge 100kr for entrance.
I would be happy to buy for service and products, but not to see the village.

Not worth the entrance
Jul. 2020 • Family
100 nok per person!!! Ok, but not worth the entrance fee. Not everything is open in july and poor value for something free elsewhere.

Totally NOT worth it!!
Jul. 2020 • Couples
You have to pay entrence fee to see this fishing village and its definetly not woth it. Its a beautiful town, but as beautiful as all the other fishing villages in Lofoten. A good tip is to arrive late evening which we did. We arrived late because we were gonna do some fishing, and everything will be closed, but at least for FREE! And to be honest, we got some beautiful shots of the town without a single other human beeing in it.

Stay away!
Jul. 2020
We have heard about this place and expected it to be a stunning fiskevær. So disappointed!

A few old buildings but basically a rorbu hotel pretending to be something....

Complete ciaos when parking and you even have to pay to get in.

There are too many annoying seagulls there..

Stay away, it is a waste of time!

100 NOK entrance to walk down a city street?
Jul. 2020 • Couples
Beware - they ask 100 NOK to enter the village - per person. This is a disgrace and not a good practice especially in an average village with one little street. I understand challenges due to mass tourism, but this is definitely not a way to solve it. I hope whoever had this idea understands that. It’s hurting local business and visitors alike.

2 nights in the village
Jul. 2020 • Couples
This is a little cosy village, with couple of restaurants and rental cottages. Very nice place to make a visit. There is also an exhibit about the village in the old days.
