must visit to see the only muslim royal family museum in south india. nice artefacts. paintings are beautiful. be sure to remove your footwear prior to entering.

The places provides insight into the only Muslim royal family in Kerala and early days of Malabar. The museum, a part of the royal palace, displays many original historical documents and paintings. Easily accessible and well preserved monument.

It's the house of the rulers of kannur The palace is no more but only this house is preserved and it's worth having a look at this museum. It's on the main road and easy to locate.

The Museum is a small one with interesting articles of Rulers of Malabar , Cultural Heritage . Paintings are good . They could have added more space to accommodate some articles. Nevertheless , its worth a watch in Kannur.

The museum can be visited when visiting kannur. Shows arakkal history with some great artifacts. The entry fee is also not high as other places in Kerala

It seems to be a family property. Footwear is expected to be removed and placed outside which is along a public road. With no one to look after the footwear, it won't be a surprise if you don't find the footwear on your return. There...More
