Tellicherry Fort was built by The British East India Company in 1708. It is a square shaped fort with massive walls built using red-laterite stones. It has got many secret tunnels leading to the sea. Parking 10/10 Entrance Free

I spend five years seeing this fort everyday. Our school is right behind this fort. We explored, each and every part of this structure almost daily as we pass through both the gates while coming back from school. * The fort is clean and neatly maintained. * no entry fee * View of the sea from the fort is quite a decent one. * You could understand the defense strategies followed in the fort.

Pleasant visit small and quick visit. Decent views and clean fort. Close to sea walk nearby. And not far from town center.

No entry fee...well maintained fort...Cannons placed at strategic location gives how enemies were tackled...view of the sea is awesome... it also highlights that being built near the sea it becomes impregnable for enemies ...Gives a colonial feel .

This fort has great importance in history because the next place is Mahe which was a french base and this fort used to be the battle point between the French and Britishers.

Its a small fort. The original structure has been retained. Its right in the city centre...opposite to the bus stand. view of the ocean from the fort is amazing.

Little disappounted as the visitors were not allowed after evening 6.So make sure to be in time there.The place is not that much good to be visited.
