Tellicherry Fort is a small fort built by Britishers in 18th centuary . this fort is well maintained and kept clean and tidy . a nice place for history seekers

This fort situated right next to Government Hospital at Talassery. It is kept very clean. It also offers a beautiful view of Arabian sea. A small fort which can be visited during evening for relaxation along with friends and family.

It's situated in Kannur district. It's was one of the main trading place of foreigners in 19th century. Many heros had captured this fort. It's very near to the beach. A church and market is also there. Mahi and muzhapilangad beach are the two nearest...More

Nothing much to visit. Place is clean and tidy. Worth seeing once. Good place for photography. Kids enjoyed the small garden.

Although most of the points we visited during Kannur trip , one spot which is not worth going is Tellicherry Fort. Very small fort, no details, no views . Better to be avoided.

Tellicherry Fort was built by The British East India Company in 1708. It is a square shaped fort with massive walls built using red-laterite stones. It has got many secret tunnels leading to the sea. Parking 10/10 Entrance Free
