Good for locals from Kannur district. Not recommended for outsiders. Really bad roads and no activities after reaching there. Only one resort and food is really bad there as they don't have any competitors nearby.

Paithalamala is an ecotourism destination in Kannur, mostly preferable for those who have interest in trekking. The trek through forest is a thrilling for natural lovers. The landscape view of Paithalmala is breathtaking one....a nice experience....

The trek is really nice and the view after is worth the hard-working. Very refreshing and green. Me and my friends enjoyed the place alot. Do wear sports shoes as it's an above average trek and little difficult also.
