This is a great place for folks to visit. It is getting a lot more traffic than when I was young. I hate the fact the military folks are charging Rs20 for entry. The Indian military is invading Kannur from within.

If you have visited Bekkal fort this doesn't offer much. But if you are in Kannur, its worth a visit.

Its an amazing fort with great view. also a paradise for photographers. you can have amazing photo shoots here. one of the very few forts kept so clean and well maintained. Note - You will have to walk back around 1-1.5km if u dont book an auto guy while coming or dnt have own vehicle.

Decently maintained with ample parking outside, on could walk around the premises talking in the history and views of the Arabian sea. Apparently a light and sound show has been inaugurated but not sure if it is still functional/times of the shows. While... More
