An interesting and cheap exhibition
Sep. 2021 • Couples
It was a welcome break from the heat of the midday sun but also an interesting exhibition. The glass lift to all 6 floors was a relief and the views from the top over the town and surrounding mountains was wonderful. The hand written scriptures were interesting and there is some narration in English but an understanding of Spanish would make it more enjoyable. On the ground floor was an interesting exhibition of medieval clothing, making a great photo op.

it is a good visit in a rainy day, specially with children. the museum is full of interactive screens and the views of the village from the top of the tower are fantastic.

Cheap and cheerful

3euro to go in, nice view over town. There is not really much to see in the tower itself apart from a few exhibitions which are meh but the building itself is pretty good. An oasis in a strange little town which outside of a small touristic area seems pretty scruffy and neglected, or maybe that is just me?

This ancient square tower in the middle of Potes is really worth a visit

Small entrance fee, great views across the town plus a splendid exhibition of Beatos (ancient manuscripts) of the Book of Revelation.

Worth a Visit
Jul. 2017 • Couples
El Torre del Infantado is in the very centre of the town of Potes, you cannot miss it. Only €3 entry. Although nothing is written in English it is still worth a visit if you are strolling by. It showcases the history of the written biblical work of the ancient monks. It is not about Potes, rather it focuses on the work of local monastic scribes in years gone by. Views from the roof platform are worth the entry fee alone.

Interesting way to spend an hour
Aug. 2016 • Family
Fascinating exhibitions; particularly if you have some knowledge of The Book of Revelation. We have no Spanish so was great fun working out what was going on. Only had to resort to Google Translate once.
Quizzes and interactive displays.
Great view from the top.
All in all a good way to spend an hour or so on a dampish afternoon in Potes. And for only 3 euros each.

Good exhibition if you read Spanish; great views
Jun. 2016 • Couples
They have an interesting exhibition about a monk who wrote about or illustrated the Book of Revelation. The display boards are all in Spanish, which I had fun attempting to translate but without some Spanish, it wouldn't mean much.

There's a great view from the top.

a bit odd
Jun. 2016
Like other visitors have already pointed out, this museum has nothing to do with the history of the Tower, who built it or even of Potes itself. Rather it houses 4 floors dedicated to Beata of Santo Toribio fame and the Book of the Apocalypse. The manuscript facsimiles are actually reasonably interesting as is the mappa mundi and there's loads of hands-on things to do mainly aimed at children I guess. It was a good way to improve your Spanish. The temporary exhibition in the basement was a bit baffling...
The great views from the top of the tower were worth the entrance fee. Fully wheelchair accessible with lifts to each floor and WCs.
