Showcasing the work of leading wildlife artist Robert E Fuller, this gallery is a must for anyone who loves the countryside. Mr Fuller spends months in the field watching and photographing wildlife and this depth of understanding makes his work sing out. Original oil paintings and bronze sculptures of wildlife all come to life through his inimtable, realistic style.

The gallery holds two exhibitions a year, at Christmas and during the summer. These usually involve falconry events for kids and nature tours so you can enjoy both the wildlife outside the gallery as well as the paintings of wildlife inside!

Coming Soon:

An exhibition on British Song Birds June 11-July 3rd. See paintings, join nature walks, and learn to understand the dawn chorus. Also taking place: falconry for kids and birdwatching for tots.

We made a quick side trip while we in Yorkshire to the Robert Fuller Gallery. He wasn't around when we visited, but it was fun to see his work. I'm not personally a collector of wildlife art, so I only purchased a couple of post cards. I think anyone with a love of wildlife (mostly wildlife you'd find in the... More

The children loved learning about the red kites and enjoyed making a nest. They were amazed by the size of the birds and how many they could see. They enjoyed using the scope to view the birds

The fog was either an attraction that afternoon, converting the landscape into magical islands in the sea or a pain because it restricted visibility - but despite that it was a joy to be out in such a beautiful spot and see so many red kites in the same place. Not understanding their habits we hadn't realised that at this... More

Amazing paintings in a fabulous setting we all enjoyed our visit including Ellie our grandaughter. Just follow the brown signs from the main Driffield to York road.

Robert is a true wildlife enthusiast, passionate about his subject, both in delivering his talks and slideshows and in his art. His gallery makes you crave for more wall space at home and to be as equally talented with a camera. There is always a warm welcome here and it's always encouraging to know that any purchase, no matter how... More

We attended Robert Fuller's "Animals do the Funniest Things" talk, at the gallery yesterday evening. The talk was excellent; highly entertaining, packed with astounding pictures of animals around the world doing what animals do naturally. His ability and dedication to capturing shots at their best, is only matched by his ability to paint and even sculpt them. Do visit the... More

Robert Fuller's latest exhibition at his Gallery in Thixendale opened yesterday for 3 weeks, with the theme "Animals do the funniest things". It's a delightful display of paintings, photographs and videos from an amazing Artist. Highly recommended.

We have visited the Robert Fuller Gallery for many years now and have bought a great collection of limited edition framed prints. The staff are very friendly and the gallery is worth a visit to experience the many aspects of local wildlife in painted picture form.
