It's located in the main square (actual work in progress) of Paola, it's amazing ! It's really big and inside full of colours. During the Town fiest, they use to put a crown under the main door and a lot of tapestries red all around.

The Paola Parish church is the dominant building in Paola. With a various artifacts inside the church and the feast celebrated in honor of Christ the King, such church is a showcase of the Catholic religion

One of the largest churches in Malta - large enough to fit the whole Good Friday procession inside (which happened on a stormy Friday some years ago)! Right now parts of it are under refurbishment so it's getting even nicer :)

We only had around fifteen minutes for our visit - but we enjoyed this impressive "small town" Church; it's a great credit to local citizens. Architecturally impressive and photographically interesting. An oasis for contemplation/worship. Worth a visit - when in Paola.

The description 'parish church' would seem to imply something much less grandiose than this. While it's some way from being St. Paul's in London or St. Peter's in Rome, and there are definitely larger churches in Malta as well, this is a very impressive building....More
