Love this place. So glad we made the drive. Loved the history of it but it's location is amazing. We loved the walk into the castle and the inside was really amazing

We took a short walk to this fascinating castle and enjoyed a ramble around its interior. This overlooks the Loch and has a great location. Take a walk to it or head by boat!
Stunning views across the loch, an amazing place but it is not very well sign posted. We found it purely by chance. It is worth visiting if you can find it!
The castle was not signposted and rather difficult to find had we not been given very good directions. Pretty castle with beautiful views. Due to its secluded nature, it's less touristy.

Nice little castle ruin, no admission fee, a short (half mile) walk from the parking lot, and a great view of the loch. A slight battle with other tourists, but nothing like at the main castles.
It's peaceful and wild and takes you back to the thinking that you are part of the royals and clans that ruled this place. You can get some stunning photos and spend ages looking over the loch and walking through the surrounding areas. The backdrop...More
