I arrived to do the railway as a time filler before the bus and paid for my ticket. The railway is a nice size and takes you through the beautiful valley before arriving at the terminus. The journey is smooth and I would definitely recommend.

Was pleased to see the train running when visited Saltburn recently. My grandsons always enjoy a ride through the woods followed by a walk through the Italian gardens

My sons are train mad so we bought return tickets for the railway. It was reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. It went into the park and stopped letting people off to explore the park which I wish we would have had time...More

Our Grandson totally enjoyed himself having a coupe of rides on the train. The staff were very welcoming and talked to me about the engine. Not along ride, but you can ride as many times as you wish.

This train and station (Goathland stop) is supposedly where the filmed the butterbeer scene in Harry Potter. Riding this to Whitby Abbey and back was a treat.

The ride takes you along Saltburn Beck through the Valley Gardens and is a good way for people who are not good on their feet to get to see the gardens as well as being a fun ride for children.

Visited this small gauge railway with 2 grandkids who really enjoyed the short journey along the river. It's only 5 mins each way but you can get off and visit the gardens and the Victorian tea rooms. Very nice reasonably priced tea coffees cakes and...More
