We liked the description (in English) of what this Wat looked like in the 14th - 16th century. Walk to the back of the Wat to see the huge standing buddha.

Very nice historic sites. You need to explore on foot so prepare comfortable shoes. There is a QR quote in every interesting place so bring your mobile phone with you.

The historical park is nice to visit if you happen to be in kamphaeng phet, but not a reason to go there if you ask me. After having been to places like ankhor wat in Cambodia, it's a bit underwhelming. Nice nevertheless.

This picturesque ruin is one of the most appealing remains at Kamphaeng Phet, a Sukothai satellite city which is included as part of the Sukothai World Heritage City. This town is little-visited by tourists but it has a wonderfully sleepy upcountry feel and we highly...More

Do make sure you see this Wat when visiting Kamphaeng Phet Historical park with its huge standing buddhas. It is one of the best in the park.
