Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

$4.00 for a terrible Turkish coffee. The family that runs this restaurant let their dogs poo on the beach. They only clean it up for the tourists not for the locals who also share this beach. The owner is rude. The prices are out of control. They are greedy and nasty The owner is judgmental witch who needs a strong dose of karma.

We found Amos beach while out on a walk, we traversed from the roadside down to the beach where we came across this little gem. Sparkling waters gently lapping the pebble beach and comfy loungers greeted us! we had icy cold local beer and some delicious Turkish fare. Take a local or water taxi for a lovely day out.

We loved Amos Beach. We had lunch and several dinners here. The food is delicious while the staff treats you like family. The scenery is beautiful. You can take a swim, nap in a lounge chair or simply idol away the day people watching. Amos is a lovely bay with a wonderful restaurant to fulfill all your needs. You must visit!

Pebbly, stoney beach, a bit scruffy in places.

Great if you want peace and quiet

This is a lovely spot. Quiet but has facilities like a cafe and really good Maris Beach restaurant. See crystal clear and great for snorkelling

if you are prepared to sit/lie on a pebble beach then this is for you. there are 3 'public' beaches in turunc. this one does not have any shelter, plenty of time spent in the water which is crystal clear and good for snorkelling

The location is really very nice. Along the Aegean Sea coast especially in this part , there are very nice beaches. So the difference is the foods... this place is a family business so they really cook very well, everything was very fresh and delicious. You should go there

This beach, its setting and Locanta are a perfect way to spend a holiday. Gazing out to the bluest sea or swimming back seeing pine forests and mountains which surround Amos is balm for the soul.

We have visited Amos beach during our stay at Turunc. It is only a ten-minutes' drive from Turunc. The beach is impressive once you enter after paying 15 TL per person as an entrance fee. We asked them if we still need to pay an entrance fee if we ate at the restaurant placed right at the entrance but we were told that the beach management and the restaurant management were not related. The prices at the restaurant is another story with 5 TL for a bottle of water and 7 TL for a small ayran. Different dishes cost almost 20 % higher than in Turunc, where the prices are already higher than in the city center. Our recommendation: Visit the beach and enjoy the interesting swimming experience among all those different fish types (if possible do it during a boat trip from Turunc as almost all boats visit the Amos Bay) but don't forget to bring some snacks with you to avoid the uncomfortable aftermath feeling of overpaying for eating at the resraurant located right at the beach.

Hi, it’s now late September, does it get crowded? Is it expensive? Could we easily send a day there and can one easily get to the next bay by foot? Thank you in anticipation. Bernard

Hi Bernard, sorry but I can't help with this. I reviewed one of the public beaches in Turunc, not Amos Beach. However, if you are staying in Turunc I would say that the beaches only got really busy at the weekends when the locals also used them. Enjoy your holiday. Gillian

Есть ли мини-отели в бухте Амос? Хотелось бы остановиться на ночь, проездом.
