Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Laverderos are not worth a specific visit, but if you are going on a typical tequila tour of Tequila, then it is a refreshing change to learn a little about the social history of the inhabitants. It is only a five minute visit.

Stopped here on on tour of the nearby distilleries. Interesting history. Amazing that the water runs non-stop from the volcano to here. Fun to see how clothes were washed in the past.

This was at the top of the hill, near the old supposedly haunted distillery. This was the wash basin for local townfolk. One lady in particular was the longest known user. Since her death, local legand says she still shows up to wash. Her great grand daughter sells snacks on site.

Me encanto el recorrido, aunque siempre en los tour me aburro muy rápido.. este no lo hizo. Se siente una vibra divertida cuando estás en ese lugar donde estuvo tanto tiempo alguien más.

I loved the tour, although always on tours I got bored very fast .. this did not do it. You feel a funny vibe when you are in that place where someone else has been so long.

GO! And take your souvenir photo! 👻

This is a very cool place with a great history, and the water that runs through it is clean and cool. Great for those hot days!. This is part of almost every guided tour through the town.

The lavaderos were included in a tour i booked. I personally was not impressed as I now live in an area where these are common. But I will say if you have never seen these or heard of these, it is interesting.

The location is the same but the original structure has been modified and a roof added. I would have loved to have seen the authentic original place.
