Educational and entertaining. It's a classic in Canela and a must-see, but if you go without a child it probably won't feel as good.

It was a rainy day in Gramado. I was a looking for closed places to visit. Here I found the best option. How the steam has changed our daily lives and our industries. In a simple and fast it's possible to understand how that all has happened. Very good for a comum understand for child our people with less technical... More

This is a quite small attraction, but with lovingly-made small functioning dioramas of XIX and early XX century factories - a paper factory, an steel works and a brick factory, all working are displayed. Unfortunately explanations are only in Portuguese. This is a must see for those interested in engineering and industrial revolution machinery - some displays are good steampunk... More

Miniature models of steem engines presented by skilled guides, although not sure if they do the presentation in English or only in Portuguese.

I loved this mini museum, fantastic little models of real machines. Great for all ages, as the explanations are short and sweet!

Educational and interesting, we really enjoyed it. It is a bit small, but something fun to do on a rainy day. The kids really enjoyed it, it's worth a quick visit.

Small museum, full of history and very charming! Great for kids as well, we have the chance to learn about some curious things, in a friendly atmosphere with great staff! I can say that you need about 1 hour or so for this visit, and you really should include on your trip!

I haven't been to all of Gramado/Canela's attractions, but this on is on my "best of the best" list. Although not very long - it may take you up to 1h30 to see it all, it is very well explained and maintained. There are working miniatures of great steam machines, and also some real ones so you can see inside... More
