Maze House is loads of outdoor fun with an old hedge maze set in a country carnival garden. Great fun for children families and couples on a romantic weekend! You can lose yourself in the beautifully manicured maze, find all the clues in the maze hunt to win a prize and test your skills with old time carnival games dotted through out the garden. Games include: Return Bowling – a humorous take on ten pin bowling, Knock ‘Em Down moving target game (with balls not bullets) The Amazing Buzz Test – a steady hand is required essential! Wind-Up Horse Racing Game - with Australia’s famous race horses Spin the Wheel to find tour next holiday destination, Queen-of-Cards castle, Country cricket pitch, lawn bowls and many more. Great fun for young kids. Our daughter loves mazes and the Maze House did not disappoint. Lots of fun old school games to try too. We went in winter and the warning on their site about good wet weather footwear being necessary is definitely valid, but as far as our daughter was concerned this just added to the fun!

My cousin and I visited on a sunny school holiday morning and were surprised at the love that is clearly shown to this attraction. The maze was very well kept and despite not being as large as a regular maze, it was still disorientating. Lots of old-fashioned children's games were scattered around which we had fun playing. There's a couple of vegetable gardens and a cool wall mural that displayed various road trip locations around Australia and the travel times. A scavenger hunt is also offered in which you need to locate various signs around the maze and surrounds. Definitely ideal if you need to entertain the kids for a few hours!

We attended the maze on a sunny winters afternoon. The children enjoyed running around the expansive garden and through the hedge maze. There were great activities for all to play after the maze. The hosts were very helpful and generous with the prizes for the treasure hunt. You need to book for the session, allow about an hour and a half. They limit numbers so it is not overcrowded. This is also helpful during Covid.

We had a great couple of hours at the Maze House. The maze is beautifully kept, along with the surrounding gardens. But the most fun was had outside the maze, with the old fashioned, simple games on offer. Frisbee tossing, magnetic darts and cricket were our favourites. Nice little cafe, friendly staff and with the lovely Autumn day we had, the setting was gorgeous.

This place had some very good games and activities. The maze was excellent. Admission price quite reasonable. Only negative is that some of the activities need a spruce up: painting etc. The kids had a good time.

A beautiful hedge maze set in well maintained gardens full of family games. Clearly a lot of time and effort has gone into designing and maintaining the grounds (I could learn some things about gardening from the owners). The maze is quite easy for teens and adults (we've done a lot of them) but smaller children and people new to mazes are likely to still find it challenging. There's a nice simple cafe on site and and plenty of grassy areas and some shaded areas to sit for a picnic. Well worth a day trip from Melbourne if you plan to see some other sites along the way, or a few hours on a day trip if staying within the region.
PS no Optus reception so people on that network will need to spend time actually playing together!
