Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I arrived at the golf club on a chilling Monday morning, following an earlier day enquiry . It is open to visitors at A$30 green fee. Tee off at 5°C and took a few holes to get warm up. The par 72 course layout is friendly, and yet challenging. Fairways and greens are well maintained. Took quite a while to locate hole 8, hole 15, hole 16 due to inadequate directional signs. A sketch course layout would be helpful to prevent visiting golfers from wandering off course.

Cannot fault the course and is difficult depending on your handicap and tees played from on the day. If you cannot locate the yardage markers from the green and do not have a range finder your hitting blind on some holes. If only they were allowed to build a great clubhouse and accommodation their number of players would explode

I was most disappointed with the closing time. It's summer and you should be able to play til dark. To tell your customers to be leaving at 6.15pm as we close the gates 6.30pm is ridiculous. I know of a friend who hasn't re-joined for this reason. I turned up at 4.05pm and was told $20 to play. I took my money to Penrith Golf club and had $8 change and played til dark. Glenmore is a great course but you really have no idea how to run it. I'm talking to you the owner who fishes for eels in the lake on the first.
Let people play til dark and you'll get more members buddy.

A really enjoyable course to play. The staff were really helpful in setting us up for the round and we were able to enjoy a really pleasant round of golf on the public holiday. Would be happy to recommend this course for an uncomplicated and stress free game.

What a beautiful place to sit down and have a nice lunch. Fantastic views over the golf course. The food is fairly basic but very nice and reasonably priced too.

Course is excellent. Great condition and a good challenge. There are 27 holes here, 18 and the old 9. You will always usually get a hit due to the 27 holes, however the old 9 is not looked after as well. I don't particularly enjoy playing on it, so we use the new 18. Fir the course I actually rate it 5, but due to the clubhouse always closing early, they get a 3. We've been there and finished at 3:30 and after a couple of coldies and bar shut! The proshop guy just says "It was quiet." Ummm...there are at least 30 people still on the course! The owner lives overseas, so has no idea how to run the place and/or doesn't care. They could do so much better by having bar/meals available for more than just lunch. And closing gates at 6:30pm during daylight savings is just plain lazy. Shame as the course is great to play on.

Love this course. Lost dozens of balls in the water. Do well on the front 9, but after a liquid lunch at the clubhouse the back 9 is usually high numbers. Check the local papers such as the Penrith Press. They often have Two-for-one coupons for weekdays.
