Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We paid $15 each for tasting 3 cheeses pieces no bigger than my fingernail. A small taste of paste and a slice of sausage, a few tiny nips of their spirit. So discount for any purchases made after spending $30 on tasting. A decent slice of cheese would have made all the difference.

We were totally disappointed after having a small tasting of 4 cheeses, a slice of sausage and 2 very small spirits pp to taste we were charged $15 each that’s $30. We bought cheese and spirits worth over $147 & we were still charged $30 for the taste testing. Most places don’t charge if you purchase- we didn’t realise till we checked the bill which was way too late - won’t fall into that trap again. Sorry but feel ripped off.

Rip off tourist experience. I came here 17 years ago and unique sheep cheese experience was more genuine not a factory marketing machine like now.

South of Woodbridge we came across Grandvewe. A Sheep Farm that produces cheeses and Vodka and Gin using the sheep’s milk whey.

They offer a tasting of the cheeses then the vodka and gins.

Loved the cheeses particularly the blue. The main vodka was excellent and not surprisingly an award winner.

Most interesting combination of tastings. Highly recommended!!

They make quite nice cheese. However their tasting fee is a bit expensive for what you get. Three cheese, paste and sliver of kransky and a few sips of alcohol. Stick with buying the cheese.

The ethos of producing foods & drinks from waste products is both mind boggling & delicious.... loved it.

What a lovely chance find this was. The cheese tasting was both informative and generous, as regards the spirits then again they were full of useful information behind the making of the vodka, gin etc. All very nice.
Great opportunity to have a coffee in their resturant and to admire the views.

Fantastic! We visited with our 1 year old and did a tasting of the cheeses, ate morning tea in the cafe with a beautiful view, and fed the sheep. Family friendly and the food was tasty too. Our second visit to Grandvewe and it does not disappoint! Love the White Pearl, my favourite cheese.

Sheep milk cheese. You have to try. Did the cheese tasting with my 2 daughters, 9 and 11. Beautiful flavors, textures and mouth feel. I moved onto the vodka and gin made from the normally thrown out whey. I was amazed it could be done and how good it tasted. The liqueur was my favorite. We decided to then have a brunch. Two of their Cransky (made on site) and sheeps cheese begets. They was simply stunning. Staff were great. We ordered gin, vodka and a variety of cheeses to be shipped to our homes for when we return from our holiday. The kids were able to fed the lambs and sheep as well. Great experience and I highly recommend this as a definite stop if visiting the area.

We made a side trip from Hobart to taste the cheese and other goodies we had heard about.
We were not disappointed. Sat on the balcony listening to the sheep and enjoying the view from this working farm. Worth the trip. Very friendly and great produce.
