This palace makes no apologies for not having original pieces but is more a snapshot in time with some great history, I recommend getting a guide who will give you the story of Sissi and Franz with some passion. Really good work here with more...More

This is a tiny little jewellery box close to Budapest. The castle is nicely renovated, the programme was well organized and the baroque theatre is unforgettable.

I don't understand why I can not officially take photos inside (without flashlight of course). The building is renovated in 1990s and there is almost nothing interesting to see.

Well worth a visit. The palace is stunning and much of it is accessible. There is interpretative signage in most rooms. We didn't do a guided tour. Our guidebook provided us with nice descriptions of the rooms so we didn't use the audio tour.
