An impromptu stop on the way to Budapest. Next to the Abbey there are a few monuments to celebrate the 1000 year anniversary in 1896 (hence millennium). The woods around the area has some great information about forestry and a look out tower the kids...More

A comfortable ten minute walk from the main entrance of the Abbey you will come upon this magnificent building hidden amongst the trees. During the time of my visit the building could not be visited inside but the monument itself is worth a visit. Sit...More
