Bagh-e Shazdeh( meaning Prince’s Garden) is a historical Persian garden located near (6 km away from) Mahan in Kerman province, Iran. The garden is 5.5 hectares with a rectangular shape and a wall around it. It consists of an entrance structure and gate at the lower end and a two-floor residential structure at the upper end. The distance between these... More

Hi I traveled to Kerman in Sepetmber 2016 with my Italian tourist as part of our Iran trip.We visited the Shahdad desert in the morning to see what it's like to walk in the middle of nowhere in 48 degrees hot and then drove all the way back to Shazdeh Garden, a green scenic place with cold running water in... The highlight here is definitely the location. Lush, green garden seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Having been said the 20,000 toman entrance fee for foreigners is a little steep (especially if you are paying for more than one) for what can essentially be covered in 15-20 minutes. We went in winter, so most of the greenery was brown and... More

I visited this place twice and every time I'm stunned about the architecture. it's nice to hang around and chill in the shade. there is a little cafe so plan some time to rest a bit. This place is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites in Iran. worth a trip if you are heading to Bam anyways. for photographers,... More

A very refreshing visit on a warm day as there is water flowing all over. A lot of flowers in beautifully maintained beds. The climb to the top is not wheelchair friendly. Post visit, outside the main walls, is a popular picnic spot where everyone brings his barbecue.

It's one of the best and beautiful gardens in Iran. Don't miss it on your trips. There is no direct bus or taxi to there but you may find buses or taxis to Mahan first and then rent a taxi to Shahzade Garden/ prince Garden

A beautiful and colourful garden in the middle of desert based on the ancient persian technology of "Kariz" or "Aqueduct" with handful of pools and fountains which work with gravity and no electrical and mechanical power source.
