The pastel colored temple is not much to see, but the view of the Irawaddy River and the surrounding area around Mandalay is worth a quick drive up this hill. Be careful on a hot day, as the ground may scald your feet.

We visited this area while in Mandalay for 3 days---and really enjoyed driving/walking around. SO many temples and pagodas--- and great views. Well worth a half day or so.
