Stopped at this Pagoda whilst doing a tour of Pyay , as in the picture is basically all that is there but when you consider its over 1000 years old it's something you should look at.

If you haven't seen a very large stupa, then you should have a walk around this one. It is quite imposing, although not well maintained.

An amazing ancient brick built prototype stupa, one of three in Pyay dating back many centuries. Absolutely huge, and rather frighteningly, a man on the end of a piece of rope near the top removing weeds from the brickwork.

Interesting stop along the way to see Hmawza (Srikshetra) Museum and Shwesandaw Paya. It’s a very large 139 feet circumference and 307 feet tall brick and mortar Stupa built around 4-7th century AD.

A very old style stupa so worth a look but no need to go out of way to visit. There are certain parts women are not allowed to step into.

This is a very old style stupa from the Bagan era. Other than its unique structure, there's not much more to see around. Also, if you are a woman, you can't walk up to the top level.
