Recommend to go in the evening as you can enjoy the beautiful sunset on the Ayeyarwady river and the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere on the pagoda platform, especially after the sunset with beautiful illumination on the golden pagoda.

This is a very picturesque pagoda, with stunning views over the Irrawaddy river. Don’t forget to take something to wash your feet with as you are required to visit barefoot. There is also a large reclining Buddha and many smaller Buddhas on the site.
