Many things to find and do here. We launched our kayaks and upon return, went to the mini shop where other services were offered. There are also drinks and coconut treats. It is also a refueling point for the boats where there is a gas...More

at the marina, there are several isletas. On one of them, someone had the great idea to capture and leave a monkey... the animal is non-stop trying to escape and does continous round of the isleta. Let the animal go.

Actually, the Marina has nothing to do with the captured monkey. However, we are trying to convince the boat owner who does to liberate him. Thanks for your opinion.

We actually motored around the marina in a boat which we had boarded elsewhere. Seeing it from the perspective of the water was interesting, as we saw other boaters, and lots of avian life. There are plenty of places to eat and drink around the...More

Thanks for your review, Rob. Your idea of booking tours directly is a good one. That is why the Marina developed its own tour operator, Aventura Tours, which can make reservations for most of the atractions around the Asese Bay and the Isletas. Please contact...More

We took a boat here to one of the isletas. Quiet place/marina for everyone to use. there are a few small stores and cantinas but not much else. There are parking spaces available as well.

Nice to walk there along the shore line of Lake Nicaragua. 4 km from Parque Central. With the exception of two loud bars in the entertainment area it is quiet and you go through a park-like ambience with beautiful old trees. At the marina they...More

We were staying at one of the Isletas and traveled there via lancha from Marina Cocibolca. It's a ten-minute taxi ride to the plaza in Granada. The only bad thing is they don't as yet have a bar, where you can get a beer while...More
