Altough our flight was initially canceled due to a cycloon threat, the scenic flight company kept us up to date in regards to the possibility of flying. They really made an effort to make it happen. Luckily the cycloon took a turn for it and we flew! It was a great and beautiful experience we'll never forget. We even got 2 pilots! Brian & Mitchell, a comic duo, pointing out land marks in a humorous manner. We definetly recommend this company to take you up in the air and see beautiful Kakadu!

The flight was conducted by AAA Charter, a subsidiary company. The pilot (1.30pm 9/6/21) unsure of his name, gave a top class commentary, greeted us in a welcoming manner and made the flight a great experience. The bonus for us was that it was a 4 seater which gave great viewing. Their pricing was better than than the opposition at the same airport. We unfortunately ventured into the oppositions office and were rudely treated and told to wait outside.
Overall this flight is a great way to experience the real beauty of Kakadu in a 30 minute flight. Would do it again with the same company only longer.

Incredible experience. One hour and forty-five minutes covering 330 km of Kakadu highlights from the air. Our pilot, Isaac, treated us like VIPs. His commentary was informative, engaging and perfectly timed. Looking down on this ancient land from the air was like flying over a vast, breath-taking natural art gallery. We totally recommend touring with The Scenic Flight Company.

From the onset, Nick greeted us with a friendly manner, we had a change of plan and nothing was too much trouble. His recommendations for the time of our helicopter flight were accurate and we were treated to 30min of glorious views of Kakadu in a comfortable fashion with informative easy to understand commentary. Nick was always very professional with a considerate manner and we felt very safe in his capable hands. Thanks Nick and we wish you well. Helen and Mandi

This was an extra to the tire we were doing. $530 for 2 people. After the embarrassment of being weighed on the road side in front of strangers on our tour, we were taken to an airstrip. Cameron was our pilot & (owner). He was very knowledgeable & his narration was an excellent accompaniment to the 40 minute flight. The plane was small, & stuffy but it didn’t detract from the beautiful scenery. As a special treat this was an excellent way to see some spectacular sights & waterfalls.

We booked a one hour flight and Justin was our pilot . It was a must do in our eyes as it really showed us how vast the park is a the variety of wild animals and vegetation.
Justin was really good and provided great commentary and took us to spots that he knew of where we would see something of particular interest . Could not recommend both this company and Justin any higher.

Had an amazing 1hr scenic flight with Mitch today. We loved seeing Jim Jim, Twin and Double falls from the air - it gave us such a different perspective especially after our dry season hike into the base of Jim Jim in July 2019.
Mitch has a great knowledge of the area and provided a great commentary, including the isolated showers which were around us - very interesting to see from the air.
Would highly recommend seeing Kakadu from the air. Take a wet season scenic flight over Kakadu, you won’t regret it!

We rang at the last minute and we got a one hour flight that morning. Tom and his co pilot gave us an awesome experience with knowledgeable and insightful commentary. They went out of their way to show us crocs and buffalos from the air. You really can’t appreciate the vastness, contrasts and splendour of Kakadu unless you do it from above. Highly recommend!

The Scenic Flight Company did not disappoint. We called into the office in Jabiru and were lucky enough to speak to one of the pilots, Isaac, who took the time to explain each flight to us and look up weather conditions to advise us what to expect this afternoon. After thinking and researching this and another flight company that was also recommended to us we chose to fly with The Scenic Flight Company, and we are glad we did! They were very obliging and schedule an hour flight for us at 2pm today, leaving Jabiru Airstrip. Our pilot and host, Nathan was very welcoming and did a terrific job of showing us the sights as well as passing on his knowledge of the area,which was very interesting. We are not keen flyers but Nathan helped us feel comfortable and confident during the trip, it wax definitely worth it!! Thank you!

Going to Darwin next April but would like to be steered in the right direction concerning scenic flights over Kakadu; operators e.g. Also most interested in fishing charters out of Darwin

Ty The Scenic Flight Company in Kakadu. Thier number is 08 8979 3432.
They do all sorts of fixed wing flights around the park, and have a live commentary.
They also have excellent reviews on Trip Advisor.
