Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Easy walk for kids, they love climbing the rocks. The art is amazing - just wish there had been more detailed info about it on the signs.

This my favourite for its numerous drawings and magnificent walking tracks and rock formations. In this World Heritage area, there are well-preserved rock drawings with good protection with sealed walking tracks, stairs and protective railings.
If you only want to see one rock site with indigenous drawings, this is the best.

Amazing rock art easily accessible. An easy walk to great views. Equally as impressive as the rock art at Ubirr. A must see.

Thanks to Warwick our guide for helping us understand the top level implications of the rock paintings. These are very extensive and well preserved including the “do not photograph” one.

Good infrastructure by the national park and the easy climb up to the outlook is worth a few extra minutes.

Another amazing stop in the Kakadu National Park with beautiful paintings. Wear sensible shoes as the short but steep hike to the lookout as part of the walk trail is nice.

Well worth the 400m walk to see the rock art. Its a shame the weather has washed away some paintings. Wear good hiking shoes or sneakers.

It is a sealed road into Nourlangie so this tends to be a busy spot with the bus tours coming here.

There is a main, well maintained up and back access track which the tours follow: to avoid the crowds, follow the more convoluted circuit walk that in itself is far more interesting.

The rock outcrop is spectacular and there are good scenic viewpoints from the circuit walk.

Expectations of the art work were high and it did not quite match up: in my opinion, Ubirr is far more interesting from that perspective.

The rock art here is accessible but probably not as vast as Ubirr. The scenery is breathtaking. I only gave it a 4 star because we’d seen Ubirr before and loved that
