Interesting tourist attraction, that is well signposted and well kept up. It gives an interesting historical view, and has quite breathtaking views

The short downhill walk is well worth the view of the power house and river gorge from the swing bridge. If you're afraid of heights you can stop short of the bridge and look across from the viewing area rather than walking across the swing...More

Nice place for a quick stop and walk across the bridge. there is a trail leading into the forest across the river.

Drive through the local park to parking a short walk from the lookout over the bridge, a pleasant stroll down to the bridge and views of the river and power station

Good place to come for a walk and take in the great scenery of the arapuni dam. The bridge is pretty massive , and the Waikato river trails are excellent to walk along . There's parking available also . Plenty of walks to do here...More
