Very interesting museum, great to learn about volcanic activity in the different islands of the Azores. The interactive experiences (earthquake simulator) were enjoyed by our group. Staff was friendly and visit was great value.

Had so much fun at the Casa dos Vulcoes, which appeared to be fairly recently built. Our young children loved the journey to the center of the earth and the earthquake simulator. Lots of GREAT information on the various island, the volcanoes that formed them, and the locations of those volcanoes.

You want to visit, do not come. They have no interest for new visitors. You need to book but no notification. We came first and have been told, come back this afternoon , we are closing for lunch. We came back to hear that we should have book. On top the Guy at desk was unpleasant. Ru. Away, they do not neef you

Very nice and creative. The simulation of earthquake was excellent for our children. People were kind and helpful. Better that you book in advance or be there when it opens

Informative new exhibit part of the network of interpretation centers in the Azores. You get to learn about volcanic activity, geology through informative panels, a sub simulator diving through the Earth's crust and an earthquake simulator recounting the two recent earthquakes recorded in the Azores.

The guided tour is based on two virtual experiences. From my point of view unexplanatory and with very basic messages. It could give much of a volcano museum to understand the formation of the islands but stays on the periphery. There are some explanatory panels that nobody shows, even being a guided tour.

Beautiful family experience, in which we learned a little more about the earthquakes and volcanoes that characterize the Azores. The earthquake simulator with virtual reality is super interesting and so is the virtual trip to the center of the earth. In addition, there are also several explanations for each island. To not lose. Near the lava arc area.

The trip to the center of the earth could be improved from an immersive experience point of view, with more additional explanations.
The earthquake simulation was quite immersive and interesting. The display on the walls was very interesting!
