What a worthwhile experience this was! The drive to the ferry is beautiful and the ride itself was fun! Highly recommend it. The kids thought it was great and as a parent I loved that it is free!

Big ferry, very efficient staff in loading and unloading. A very enjoyable and picturesque ride. Would be nice if they had ice cream cones in the coffee shop, but the ice cream bar was okay.

Traveling in our RV through southern BC, we were so glad we could avoid the Crows Nest. This was much more beautiful and fun! I LOVE ferries. It was a short one but gorgeous.

I had no idea Kootenay Lake had a ferry - what a great surprise! The loading up is easy and they can fit a surprising number of vehicles on the larger ferry. The crossing was smooth and easy, relatively quick, and so cool. I love...More

Car ferry across took about 40mins. Catch the Osprey Ferry as this one has a little coffee shop and can walk upstairs to look out. Worth it!
