Lots of fish who are not afraid to go near you

The attraction is the shipwreck but the friendly fishes steal the show. They swarm to you as if to say hi. Snorkeling is a joy here!

This was the last snorkeling site we went to on our island hopping tour so it was a bit crowded but it hardly diminished from the overall experience. As you dive into the water you immediately notice the number of fish in area who are not afraid of human contact. As you approach the buoy of the wreck and look... More

Snorkeling is nice in that little area and you will be able to see the Skeleton, although you have to really focus on that.

Snorkeling to see the reef is not as good as scuba diving. There are lots of corals but u will barely see the wreckage that make up the skeleton reef if youre only snorkeling.

Good chance to see wrecks for non-divers. Visibility is enough to see front of ship. Those, who can dive well, can even touch the ship.

The front part of the sunken ship has a rope attached to it which you can hold on to for the (practice) dive :-). The place has lots of fishes, clear water, beautiful corals in a smaller site. There were only two boats (ours and another one) when we were there so it was not crowded.

If you’re just starting to dive, this is an easy spot to get some nice wreck photos at the Skeleton Reef. However, don’t waste your days/ dives on this spot if you haven’t finished the 6 main Japanese sunken shipwrecks.

I visited the Skeleton Reef in my hopping tour in Coron. This is one of the places I prefer most for snorkelling in Coron. You can see a lot of lovely creatures in the sea. Must see for those who love the sea and snorkelling.
