It was a long, not hugely interesting 1 hour 20 minute drive from Culloden near Inverness to the end of the single track road at Glen Affric but I wanted to re-visit this famous glen after several years of absence. The scenery really only takes off...More

Wow! It was a long steep walk, but so worth it for the breathtaking view! We took our lunch up with us and sat on the bench at the viewpoint. It was mid November and the scenery was unbelievable. There was a scattering of snow....More

Glen Affric is full of wonderful nature. You find nice parking places and many opportunities for short walks from there as well as a long distance walk starting at Cannich. The views are stunning and on week days it's not too crowded.

This area of Scotland is a slightly hidden gem. Not far from the more widely known Loch Ness. It is a stunning glen and mountains, certainty one of the best glens in northern Scotland.

Even though it was a cold, November day with some rain, the views as we travelled by car along Glen Affric were stunning. A good circular trip out from Inverness if you want to do some sightseeing. There is the opportunity to do a few...More

Golden Eagles, rutting Stags, foraging Squirrels. Affric has them all in abundance and so much more too. If you want the real unabashed Scotland, then Affric is a must see.

Yes, some lovely short trails. My nephews enjoyed the River Affric walk from the top car park, where there’s also a very short trail up to a view point. You could take them to see the stags in Glen Cannich very nearby.
