Excellent way to spend afternoon go for a walk around the loch! North side is spectacular. However the whole image is little disapointing due to building construction traffic. Other than that great

We visited here many years ago, and wished to return to this beautiful area. We did several walks - the Dog Falls walk and two from the River Affric Car Park at the end. There are plenty of walks to choose from depending on ability...More

A great place to explore an amazing woodlands restoration project where forest has been allowed to regenerate for 27 years without sheep 🐑 or deer 🦌 grazing pressure. Well worth the ramble.

We first visited Glen Affric 4 years ago and our daughters this year chose to come again and for good reason. This is truly one of the most beautiful of the Glens of Scotland, with walks and views you would never expect to see in...More

I'm a local and visit Glen Affric several times a year. At the moment it is being ruined by the estate putting in 3 small scale hydro schemes. This work is beyond the Dog Falls. These abominations had the blessings of SNH who are supposed...More

This is a very quite area of Scotland considering Loch Ness is just down the road. The Dog Falls walk offers a pleasant 1.5 hour walk which is moderately strenuous.

Great walk from the first car park..lovely loop with a short out and return up to a view point which overlooked the loch. Saw and photographed my first dipper! just brilliant!

This was our favorite Glen in all of Scotland. The walk was beautiful, quiet, remote, and uncrowded. If you walk clockwise, it starts along an unattractive road, but keep walking because soon it opens up to an amazing loch and the trail goes all the...More

I was disappointed when I visited Glen Affric recently with unsightly earth work at the side of the road into the Glen. Everywhere there were unsightly workings with diggers etc scattered along the route. What was really disappointing was a sign approx. close to the...More

There is so much outstanding natural wilderness scenery here plus various grades of walking tracks. A special place to visit.

Yes, some lovely short trails. My nephews enjoyed the River Affric walk from the top car park, where there’s also a very short trail up to a view point. You could take them to see the stags in Glen Cannich very nearby.
