We broke our journey with an overnight stay at this old But welcoming inn. The room was comfortable and spotless and we had a good evening meal served by friendly staff. Excellent value for money.

This used to be my local ,fourteen years ago. I walked in and it was the same barman standing there who remembered me. This amazing little place is haven't changed at all thank God!! Great characters and brilliant food. I certainly won't wait another 14...More

We had a lovely evening meal here, all were pleased with their food. Love the fact that the decor hasn't been over-modernised as it is in keeping with the history of the place.

Beautiful drive through the glorious Devon Country roads for lunch. Delightful country pub, it was like stepping back in time....the pub dates back to 16th Century, and is the location for the inspiration of War Horse, the movie! A very warm welcome by the staff...More
