Not open very often as currently being repaired and renovated by volunteers, but well worth the trip when it is open. Historic site with lots to tell.

Visited Poltimore House on an open day. Had seen it on a TV restoration appeal some years ago. Was shocked at how much work is required. Good luck to the volunteers and fund raisers.

I visited here with some friends and the staff were great. A great building that needs some love and care and the finances to bring it back to its original beauty. Has a great history to be preserved for all to enjoy

This is a really lovely old house, which is gradually being restored by a dedicated army of enthusiasts. It hosts outdoor theatre shows in the summer by the excellent local company Cygnet Theatre. Don't miss those.
