If you like trains, or just like exploring the history of little towns, you need to go. Worth the drive from downtown sudbury. We can't forget how important these little towns were to the economy and especially to immigrant families.

I toured this museum with a group of business owners from Sudbury Tourism. Had I not gone with them I may have missed out on ever realzing this hidden gem in our backyard. Can't wait to take my family there this summer!

Hi Peter, We are unfortunately closed for the season and the rail yard is indeed a bit of mess right now as we are operating our Halloween Haunt event, the Terror Train 6077 where we transform much of the yard into a giant outdoor haunt....More

Well done! Lots of variety, beautiful exhibits. It is only open seasonally, so be sure to check times. Not to be missed! Highly recommended!

The cost of admission is $8 for adults, $7 for students and seniors, $5 for children and children under 3 get in for free.

Unfortunately all of our displays are static and no longer operational. The museum opens on May 23rd and operates 7 days a week between the hours of 10am and 4pm until August 31. The Terror Train event takes place... More
