If you like trains, or just like exploring the history of little towns, you need to go. Worth the drive from downtown sudbury. We can't forget how important these little towns were to the economy and especially to immigrant families.

I toured this museum with a group of business owners from Sudbury Tourism. Had I not gone with them I may have missed out on ever realzing this hidden gem in our backyard.

The museum is so interesting as it contains some old and original railway cars which can be accessed through the museum. The museum itself is an old station house that explains all about the importance and creation of the railway through Caperol.

Unfortunately all of our displays are static and no longer operational. The museum opens on May 23rd and operates 7 days a week between the hours of 10am and 4pm until August 31. The Terror Train event takes place... More
Unfortunately all of our displays are static and no longer operational. The museum opens on May 23rd and operates 7 days a week between the hours of 10am and 4pm until August 31. The Terror Train event takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights during the month of October. Hope this helps!
