A single artist gallery on one of Canada's Gulf Islands. Really an Art Lovers Getaway. Jill travels and paints in various parts of the world. She has many collections on her website and over 300 paintings currently in print. Jill has had galleries of her own for more than 20 years. Her personal gallery on Salt Spring Island is definitely the best place to view her art plus have a chance to meet in person. She paints primarily in watercolour but that tends to be just the start as she then incorporates prayer flags... Pen and ink... Gold leaf and whatever gives the effect she is seeking. Always vibrant and uplifting. The gallery is now open daily in the summer and three days a week the rest of the year.

We first met Jill when she was just starting out selling her paintings in the Saturday market. Since that time, Jill's art and her career has grown to include more international subjects but still with her lively burst of colour!

Sweet little gallery and shop right downtown Ganges, across from the landmark Treehouse restaurant. I really am a fan of Jill's work and always have appreciated her artistry and choice of subject both.

I bought cards and a picture from Jill Louise. It was very hard to choose as all of the work is beautiful. Such luminous colors which capture the light on the island. Very welcoming artist.
