Barefoot Beach itself was beautiful and quiet probably due to the lack of shops and/or restaurants on site. Pack a good lunch when you go. The highlight of that excursion was the Naturalist on duty at the park. Dick was full of information about the shells and vegetation found in Florida. He kept us interested and entertained with his presentation... More

$8 I'm sorry that's a scam... Multi Million dollar homes around and can't take the money from them who are ruining the natural habitat. Good beach but what's the $8 for? To help Jeb run in 2086 for president?

Spent the day here today. You can walk to Wiggins Pass where there are lots of shells. The beach is clean, water beautiful, and relaxing. I go to this beach all the time.

Excellent park. It costs $8 per day, or $50 per year. It is worth the money. You will need to drive through a gated community. No need to stop at the gate. just stay to the right and pass straight through. Once you get into the park, there are three parking area. The bathrooms are at the first lot. There... More

Beach was clean besides a few dead fish from a recent red tide event, but no trash and the like. Lots of seashells, families, and loads of fun for our 2.5 year old.

Great beach to rest and enjoy the serenity of the ocean! You will travel through a very nice neighborhood before arriving at the parking area. Go ahead and take the first right into the parking lot and park there if it's not full. Access to the beach is very easy and close to the parking lot! I saw Gopher Turtles... More

We truly enjoyed the beach area at the park. The waves were surprisingly good for the kids and adults to enjoy. The facilities including the bathrooms were convenient and clean. Be advised the beach itself doesn't have a lot of depth to it so it can get a bit busy at times. It was not crowded though. Also the decking... More
