We paid a nominal charge to go inside the castle, and there are gardens to walk about. We were greeting in one of the buildings, with the news that more tickets are needed, and were charged 40UAH (not a lot), and found that this gives us a guided tour. Our first guide couldn't speak much English, but did her best... More

I spent a month in Dubno, so it was inevitable that I'd go visit the landmark of the city - Dubno castle! While it's nothing spectacular, it does have an intriguing history and is fascinating to see. We stopped here on our way somewhere else. It's got a good selection of different kinds of items in the museum, and is part of a very nice, peaceful park. It made for a great lunch time break and chance to stretch our legs while seeing some history.

Very nice castle to visit with its icons exhibition, torture hall, dungeons, galleries and museums. Very polite staff with open mind, jokes and smiles. Just one advise - don't make the lunch breaks, operate in several shifts - tourists may arrive at different time and they won't like the closed exhibitions for a lunch break.

Nice castle situated by the main road. There is no entrance fee and no guide to show you around/tell you something more about it but you can visit it on your own. There is a cave beneath the castle that leads to the left part of the castle, overlooking the lake. I suggest you to order a coffee or sit... More
