Day trip with friends from great bay. We took the ferry to Anguilla and got a car for the day, a loaner from a friend. The four of us made our way to shoal bay. We were met by uncle Ernie's staff, assisted us with parking in the back. We rented umbrellas and loungers and bought beers for $2 a... More

Shoal Bay East has suffered some erosion over the past two years, particularly in the area formerly occupied by Gwen's Reggae Bar. The main 1 mile + strip, however, remains in tact and every bit as beautiful as in years past. Despite new hotel construction (Zimi, Manoa), Shoal Bay East remains uncrowded. Waves are relatively gentle and coral formations provide... More

We took a day trip to Anguilla from our resort in Great Bay, Phillipsburg. I am not sure of the last time an experience exceeded every expectation I had. Shoal Bay is one of the top 3 beach experiences I have had. The sand was perfectly white and powder soft. The azure waters had alternating breaks of surf and calm.... More

This beach was absolutely beautiful! The sand was fine and the water was clear. If you're a beach bum you'll want to check this beach out. The down side, you have to pay for parking if you drive there and then you have to pay to use the chairs and umbrellas. There are people competing (for chair and unbrella rentals)... More

Quintessential Caribbean paradise, and surprisingly not too crowded either. Make sure you take a glass bottom boat tour to check out the underwater delights too!

The Beach was gorgeous. I enjoyed every minute. The people were friendly. It was not over crowded. Parking was convenient and only a few steps from the beach.

One of the most amazing beaches in the world, white sand beach and brilliant blue waters. Beach lounges were included in our trip. As were lunch. Lunch was just ok, as the restaurant was really just a beach shack. Again a wonderful beach!!

This beach might just be the most beautiful in the world. White sand and turquoise waters. Not that many tourist so you can go for a walk on the beach and get the feeling that you´re alone.

I cannot say enough about the beauty of this beach! I thought my eyeballs were deceiving me. The waves are a bit rough, but again one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my lifetime. The sand is gritty here. I took so many photos. I highly recommend going here. I fell in love!

Visited by taking the ferry from Marigot to Anguilla, rented a car and went to Shoal Bay. The day was like a dream and we often talk of returning this 2016. Last there in 2014 and can't wait to feel like a dream come true again. Unmatched beauty.
