We went on a tour and it was great as we got to see the animals up nice and close. It’s definitely well worth the drive and we were there for around 3-4hours, we did take our own lunch as there isn’t a cafe.

What a great experience. Couldn't rate highly enough. It is the experience of the zoo without the hustle and bustle of crowds. Our tour guide Stacy was great. Highly recommended!
