This place is amazing. Rostock isn't on most people's list of destinations for travel but if you are ever in this area of Germany, you have to stop by Karl's. This place has an amazing restaurant, gift shop and amusement park. My two little ones loved this place so much we spent three days here checking out all the cool... More

Basically strawberry farm grown into a strawberry-themed funpark aimed at children / families. Find lots of products from strawberry marmalade to strawberry champagne. Lots of attractions for kids and grown-ups. Some free(!) some for moderate admission. Day pass available. Mostly indoor, so its great for a rainy day. Several food options on site simple to fancy. This is indoor and outdoor activity great for the whole family. Strawberry farm, potato bag slide, soft play activity, tractor ride, bungee ride, animals feeding activity, pony riding, kids crafts and arts activities. You could be involved in bonbon sweets making master class, jam making masterclass. Before you buy any food and drinks you could give it a try: bread... More

Whether you love Strawberries or hate them, you need to visit this place if you're nearby! Its a haven for all things crazy and farm related... Let the kids loose on the play area, visit the sweet factory, go on the "high ropes" or even just stand in amazement at the millions of teapots on display! Oh and don't forget... More

It's like little Disney Land, but then with strawberrys! We we're here in November, so it wasn't crowded. Many fun things to do for young kids, digging machines, playground, electric cars, tractor track, big slide (with a sack), aquarium, birds show, ponyride, etc. And the surprise is inside. It looks like Santa's been here. They make Candy's, soap, chocolate and... More

Karls is kind of a theme park dedicated to the strawberry. There are a lot of demonstrations and tons of products to buy. Prices are rather steep, especially in this part of Germany. It's also gets REALLY full, especially in the holidays. Expect to wait half and hour in line when you want to pay and leave. Nevertheless a good... More

Strawberries are all over here. You can spend a few hours here if the weather is not that good for the beach. There are a lot of activities for free. For others you have to pay. Day passes are available.

This place is a real gem! There are loads of really fun, clean and interesting things to do for children and fun for adults too. The shopping barn has a lovely variety of things to browse through and the food is delicious! Definitely worth a visit!! We went to the one just outside Berlin.

We visited Rostock over Christmas to see the family and we took time to go to Karl´s Erlebnis Dorf to visit their new Eiszeit Attraction. A trip on the Orient Express starting in Paris via Vienna, Hungary, Istanbul and the Orient, all depicted in ice. You enter Eiszeit and you arrive in a -10C environment with different rooms where the... More
