About
Drive yourself in our ATV on a fun 4x4 off-road adventure tour with our experienced guides leading the way. Our ATV's are best in class for comfort and safety. They are very easy to operate being automatic with no prior experience required. We travel along old logging roads, winding our way through various types of forest. At the half way point, we walk an easy, near level, 300 metres to the picturesque Cape Surville lookout. Don't be surprised if we are the only people there. The round trip is approx 25kms and takes 2.5 hours including induction to complete.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic Tour led by the experienced Rob.... we were warmly greeted and after a quick safety brief and a look at the map to see where we were heading, we were off.
The track was suitably rough to enjoy the ATV experience, but remained a track so as to protect the amazing bushland surrounding. We saw a range of wildlife from wallabies to sea eagles and black cockatoos along the route, and the views at the end were nothing less than breathtaking.
Rob made to effort to stop and explain things about the terrain, the wildlife, the environment and Tasmania in general along the way, and he definitely has a wealth of knowledge along with a story for every occasion. Highly recommended and we would definitely go again.

Make sure this is on your itinerary! Amazing tour with Rob who knows everything about the trails and area. Everything is safe and secure. The first part of the tour lets you get used to the machines and then gets progressively more exciting. No experience is needed to drive the machines, if you can drive a car you can drive these. At the half way point you're treated to an amazing, secluded view of the coast and cliffs. Much easier than hiking and much more of an adventure. Highly recommend for solos, couples and families.

Any chance to obtain local knowledge from someone who’s family has lived and worked the land for decades is well worth the stop. The real adventure is cruising into the bush while driving your own CamAm 4x4. Rob leads you into an area of the bush that only the locals know about. He has many stories of what has transpired in the area. His knowledge of the local area and ecosystem made this a unique experience that you will truly enjoy. Amazing views of a secluded cape are yours alone! We spent time watching sea eagles drift by and learning about the history of local fisherman and loggers. To top it off, we rocked some amazing tracks thru the bush. This stop is a must!

A must do if you are in the area or worth the trip from Hobart. Rob is knowledgeable and cheerful, the vehicles easy to manage and so lovely to drive through the bush with fabulous views at the end of it. We all enjoyed it, three generations of us!
