I just completed the one and a half 9am tour led by Kate who eloquently explained the schools philosophy and curriculum as we toured the campus. All but one building are constructed entirely of bamboo and Palm roofing. Their designs and constructions are as inspiring as the educations taking place within. Entire campus is a beautiful tribute to John Hardy's... More

I visited the green school for the second time now. Since three years it evolved even more into a inspiring school. I was was blown away three years ago and I was now as well. You clearly can see that they are working continuously to make that school a better experience for everybody involved in it. For the students, for... More

We did a tour just as tourists, it was very informative and great to see the beautiful campus and hear about the amazing projects and school ethos. Our guide Kate was awesome. She was very friends and happy to answer any questions.

This is one of the highlight of my Bali tour! The school's mission and goal are astonishing in guiding younger generation not only to be intellectually brilliant but in totality. Their methods of teaching the next generation is of different approach but will definitely help the new generation to thrive in life as life skills and lessons seems always been... More

What an amazing place: the space is paradise; the buildings heavenly and the people inspirational. All 3 parts to the tour; the school, the bamboo factory and the village were fascinating. This is a must-see for anyone with an interest in architecture, the natural world, the future of our planet. Actually, it's a must-see for anyone! There is a fair... More

I was deeply impressed!! The whole school was built of bamboo. The educational staff was very inspiring. A really eco school with several eco projects. No words for it!! A good example for how it has to be!! Thanks for being there and the inspiration. A realisation of my greatest wish how a school must be!!

This was the most educational and one of the most fun tours I went on in Bali. The project is so interesting and the model of education is innovative. There's a lot of positive things to be said about all the initiatives this school is undertaking to be sustainable and progressive, but it is not without flaws. One of the... More

For what they have done in 8 short years is certainly impressive. The short tour is very thought provoking and made me wish we had such schools back home. Everything they do is sustainable, from the recycled car windshields to compost toilets to sustainable energy. Disappointing that only 8% of students are locals, but a school of this scope is...
