This was a very nice experience. We were there early so it wasn’t crowded at all. The setting is about as serene as it gets. The guide did a great job of explaining the different deities and ceremony. The waterfalls and carvings are stunning. I wish I would have known to wear water shoes because you go through the ceremony barefoot and walking on the rocks was extremely painful for me at some points. So much so that it made the experience almost in unenjoyable at some points.

A beautiful and well kept site. The hosts were so lovely and friendly. It was an organised experience, with a guide escorting us through the falls and explaining all the carvings and deities. We received sarongs to wear over swimmers and changed in clean, maintained change rooms and placed our things in lockers with keys. They guide (Rusman) kept the keys for us and took photos of our experience. we walked bare-foot over rocks and stones that could get a bit spikey. If you have mobility issues, this may not be a good option for you. It was a fantastic experience, finished with a refreshing fresh juice afterwards.

First the major con…very expensive to enter for simple visit. 200,000idr, twice what it says online, that’s $13US each person, I almost turned around. Most other attractions in Bali are 30,000 to 75,000idr, trying to make up for the Covid loses. Otherwise, very nice photos and the obligatory instagram shot.

This isn’t just a waterfall for everyone to visit it’s a sacred Balinese temple. You have to pay to go down to the waterfall and you have a guide who takes you through explaining all the different gods. You spend your time presenting offerings to each god and learning about them as well as having blessings. It was an incredible experience and the waterfall and caves were incredible. All the guides love playing photographer and we got some awesome shots. Don’t go here to just look at a waterfall lf you are not open to the spiritual journey they take you on. It took about an hour and is one of the best things I have done in Bali. Be prepared to get wet as you enter the waterfalls to scream out your negative energy. It cost $30 but was worth every cent.

We came to this place on recommendation and we loved it! We did the purification for 300k IRP and this is unbelievable fair. The scenery with the waterfalls and the caves is amazing and the place has strong spiritual power. It’s not crowded and the guides take a lot of time for everyone. They also don’t do any push for further money spendings.

This had to be the highlight of our trip! OMG! The melakut experience was AMAZING! There are not enough words to describe just how beautiful this sacred space is. Our guide, Leo, gave us a wonderful insight to the beauty of the religion and culture to be honest, if there is a waterfall to visit, this is the only one you will need to go see and experience.

This is a must do if you’re coming to Bali. It’s absolutely stunning!! We did the purification and for 2 of us it was £30. This included a welcome drink, towel, sarong, free photos and a coconut. From start to finish it was amazing and our English guide was really good at explaining everything as we went along. The photos came out so beautiful and will definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of coming to Bali.

I did the simple purification. The area was beautiful. You are escorted all the time and you are guided about the process. The escort was kind enough to make pictures/ videos of me with my phone. She kept my phone in her bag because sometimes you passed through waterfall. Very unique experience although touristic. There are changing rooms and toilets. They provide sarong and towel as well as safe box. It takes around an hour. Expect to get totally wet.
